Cherry Mobile Skyfire 2.0 Official Specs Released
Since Cherry Mobile posted a teaser of another “Quad-Core for All” device on their [redirectToPage url="https://www.facebook.com/cherrymobile" title="Cherry Mobile Official Facebook Page" desc="official Facebook Page" ], Cherry Mobile fans have keep on wondering what the new smartphone might just have to offer. Earlier teaser photo though has allowed us to reveal the label of the device which is “Skyfire 2.0″ but the official specs, aside from the quad-core CPU remained secret.
In some exclusive groups of Cherry Mobile, fans are very active in engaging into conversations regarding the upcoming unit. I’ve been even encouraged to join in some of their conversations, just to discover new information. I am actually amazed of how they’ve become that supportive in the local brand while keeping open-minded for ideas especially when comparing Skyfire 2.0 to other CM units and even competing device.
So far, here are the official specs declared by some reliable source about the Cherry Mobile Skyfire 2.0.
Cherry Mobile Skyfire 2.o Specs Sheet
|SIM Slot||Dual Sim, Dual Standby|
|Screen||5-inch IPS Scratch Proof Screen|
|Processor||1.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon S4|
|Camera||8 MP (rear), 2MP (front)|
|Storage||4GB internal, expandable up to 32GB|
|Operating System||Android 4.1 Jellybean|
The specs above shows that Cherry Mobile Skiyfire 2.0 didn’t meet the requirement to topnotch the current flagship smartphone of CM, Cherry Mobile Omega HD. The disadvantages of Skyfire 2.0 side to side with Omega HD include the camera and battery capacity, two specs which are considered by many as very important if not priority! The rest of the specs are the same including the initial SRP.
When paired with Flame 2.0 though, the Skyfire 2.0 manages to emerge except for the fact that the first is being sold cheaper than the latter.
According to Cherry Angel, a CM Facebook account, the release of the Cherry Mobile Skyfire 2.0 so expect to reveal more information about the upcoming device. What is can you say about the device? Is worth buying/recommending?
